One doesn’t become great at bondage overnight and even though I’m getting more experienced with rope work, I still realize I’m a novice compared to some.  I recently was looking at a bondage video with Alexa Von Tess and some of the knot work was really interesting to me.  Now, I know some of you probably will realize just how much of a novice I am by checking it out, but that’s okay because I’m working on it and getting better.

Studying other people.  It’s what I do when I watch bondage videos because while I think there’s an element of each person developes their own style, at the same time I think you can also learn from the masters.  I consider Mark Davis one of those guys I’d like to emulate, not imitate, but there’s certain things he does that I wish I could do.

This is a topic that I feel is important for everyone getting into a bondage type fetish.  You can’t just assume a woman is going to make a perfect slave on her first try.  Any woman that’s willing can become an ideal slave, but you have to guide them into the role.  The first time you have a woman tied that’s never been tied before, you have to ease them into the idea of losing control.
